Omron Asia Pacific Pte Ltd., a Japan-based global automation company, through its representative office in Manila established in 2013, has signed a distribution deal with Metro Drug Inc. (MDI), a distribution company for medicines and healthcare products.
Omron aims to expand its distribution network nationwide leveraging on MDI’s network of 28,000 accounts and 100 per cent market coverage which the company has established throughout its 23 years in operation.
Through MDI, Omron will offer its main Medical device product in the Philippines, digital blood monitoring, in addition to nebulizers, thermometers, body composition monitors, blood glucose monitors and TENS massagers to end-users like independent pharmacies, hospitals, and other Medical institutions in the country. On the other hand, Omron is a welcome addition to MDI’s international and local partners, representing more than 50 brands to date.
