Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (RSDH), one of Malaysia’s largest private healthcare providers has collaborated with the Australian radiology AI firm Annalise.ai, backed by Amazon Web Services (AWS), to introduce AI-assisted tools for clinicians. This technology will first be adopted in two RSDH’s hospitals namely, Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) and Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre (BTMC).
The collaboration seeks to roll out Annalise Enterprise chest X-ray (CXR), an AI-enhanced clinical instrument tailored to quickly and accurately interpret chest X-ray results. The use of this AI tool notably enhances the capability of clinical teams in detecting crucial findings. The AI tool, founded on AWS’s robust and efficient cloud infrastructure, promises swift delivery of results to RSDH radiologists, signifying a notable advancement in the utilization of cloud and AI-driven medical technology in Southeast Asia.
These efforts go beyond the incorporation of AI tools into RSDH’s two prominent hospitals. There are aspirations to extend this technological implementation to additional healthcare facilities throughout Malaysia and explore opportunities for expansion into Indonesia.
