Emirates has officially opened its first Emirates World retail store in Singapore, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s 35-year history in the country and reaffirming its commitment to delivering a premium customer experience in Southeast Asia. Located at Odeon 333, across from the iconic Raffles Hotel, the 330-square-metre store offers a blend of personalized service, immersive technology, and luxury hospitality. Customers can receive expert travel planning and advice from dedicated consultants, book flights, and explore exclusive fare deals in a welcoming, lounge-style environment designed with Emirates’ signature contemporary aesthetic and motifs of the UAE’s national Ghaf Tree.
A standout feature of the Singapore store is the permanent installation of Emirates’ First-Class Private Suite, allowing visitors to step inside and experience the plush leather seating, ambient lighting, and privacy doors typically reserved for the skies. This hands-on display aims to inspire customers to consider Emirates’ premium offerings for their next journey. The store also features interactive elements such as a ‘selfie mirror’ with scenic destination backdrops and showcases a range of upcycled products—like bags and travel pouches—demonstrating the airline’s commitment to sustainability.
Emirates’ decision to open the World Store in Singapore is validated by internal research showing that travelers continue to value in-person retail experiences, especially when planning complex or luxury travel. The store’s design and service model are intended to provide a human touch, combining digital innovation with face-to-face consultation, and offering amenities such as freshly brewed coffee for visitors as they wait or receive assistance.
The launch coincides with Emirates’ 35th anniversary of operations in Singapore, a market where the airline now operates four daily flights to Dubai and one to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, serving over 800,000 passengers on the Singapore–Dubai route in 2024 alone. The new retail concept not only strengthens Emirates’ ties with Singapore but also signals its intent to continue growing and innovating in the region, offering both leisure and business travelers an elevated, seamless travel planning experience.
