Orissa International undertook a sourcing project on behalf of a leading US company in the packaging solutions sector that was looking to source from Vietnam. We provided the client with a pre-qualified list of local manufacturers of leno mesh products in Ho Chi Minh City, describing in great detail their capabilities of manufacturing the products according to the client’s specifications, in terms of size and location of factories, types of looms in their factories, availability of export license, product size, color, type of stitching, labeling, as well as pricing. Our staff in Ho Chi Minh visited selected shortlisted factories to verify the information provided, obtained product samples for the client, as well as key contact information including export manager’s name, email address and mobile phone number.
Orissa International assisted a US manufacturer of medical devices, which was looking to source a specific type of device from Malaysia required for their intermediate phase of production. Our team in Malaysia undertook a program of calling to over 20 manufacturers of similar devices in Malaysia to identify which company was able to manufacture the exact product based on the specifications provided by the client. Having identified a suitable manufacturer, we pre-qualified it it with a list of questions to verify their manufacturing capabilities and certifications. We obtained all the relevant details to help the client in their discussion with the manufacturer, and ultimately connected both parties for the production-level engagement.
