Indonesia Boosts EV Charging Network through V-Green and Telkom Property Partnership

January 2026

Indonesia is set to strengthen its green infrastructure and electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem following a new partnership between V-Green, a regional EV charging infrastructure developer, and Telkom Property, the real estate arm of state-owned telecom company Telkom Indonesia. The collaboration aims to accelerate the development of EV charging stations and supporting green infrastructure across key urban and commercial locations nationwide, supporting Indonesia’s push toward cleaner and more sustainable transportation.

Under the partnership, Telkom Property will provide access to its extensive portfolio of real estate assets, including office complexes, commercial buildings, and parking areas, which will be assessed as potential sites for EV charging stations. The company will also facilitate connections with property owners and manage leasing arrangements, enabling faster deployment of charging infrastructure in high-traffic and strategic locations.

For V-Green, Indonesia represents an important growth market as it expands its EV charging network across Southeast Asia. By combining V-Green’s technical expertise in EV charging solutions with Telkom Property’s strong local footprint, the partnership is expected to improve charging accessibility for private EV users, fleet operators, and emerging electric mobility services such as electric taxis and shared vehicles.

The initiative aligns with Indonesia’s broader national goals to reduce carbon emissions, encourage EV adoption, and support the transition to a low-carbon economy. As demand for electric vehicles continues to rise, collaborations between infrastructure providers and state-linked enterprises are expected to play a critical role in building the backbone for sustainable mobility across the country.
