Lactasoy Co. Ltd. has introduced Thailand first high protein ultra high temperature milk under the Benefitt brand. The product is packaged in SIG SmallBloc 350 milliliter carton packs and is available nationwide at 7 Eleven stores. Each 350 milliliter serving contains 31 grams of protein and is designed for ambient storage without refrigeration.
High protein milk products in Thailand have previously been sold mainly in pasteurized formats that require cold chain distribution and have shorter shelf life. The new product uses aseptic processing and packaging, which allows it to be stored and transported at room temperature. The formulation contains no added sugar and is lactose free. It is positioned for consumers seeking convenient nutrition, including office workers and individuals focused on protein intake.
The milk is filled using the SIG Small 24 Aseptic filling machine, which supports multiple packaging formats and volume options. The system allows manufacturers to adjust formats without installing new equipment.
SIG, headquartered in Switzerland, provides aseptic carton, bag in box, and spouted pouch packaging systems. In 2024, the company produced 57 billion packs and reported revenue of USD 3.6 billion. Lactasoy, established in 1981, is a Thai producer of soy based beverages and exports to international markets. Benefitt products are manufactured under Lactasoy production standards.
