Philippine Airlines Partners with Ramco Aviation

March 2023

Philippine Airlines, Inc. (PAL), the country’s flag carrier, has reached an agreement with Ramco Systems, a provider of aviation software, to implement Ramco’s Aviation Suite V5.9. The replacement of standalone outdated systems by the proposed solution will integrate, automate, and improve business operations at PAL and its subsidiary PAL Express. Ramco’s on-cloud, next-gen platform will provide PAL with end-to-end optimization of maintenance and engineering business processes that will support regulatory compliance and enable sustainable digital transformation through paperless operations. This is in line with PAL’s Accelerated Initiatives for Recoveries and Full Optimization through Innovation and Leadership (AIRFOIL) program.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is the only full-service network airline and the country’s flag carrier. In March 2023, PAL will mark its 82nd anniversary. PAL was the first commercial airline in Asia. The Boeing 777, Airbus A350/A330/A320/A321, and De Havilland DHC-8-400 Next Generation fleet of PAL fly to 35 destinations in Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East from hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao. In addition to carrying passengers on regularly scheduled flights and providing its renowned warm and gracious Filipino service, PAL also transports air cargo shipments and operates charter flights to promote tourism in the Philippines, support the economy, and meet the travel demands of Filipinos living abroad.
