Spanish Company to Deliver H135 Flight Simulator to Royal Thai Air Force

November 2025

Entrol, a Spanish manufacturer of flight simulators certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), announced the sale of an H135 Flight Training Device (FTD) Level 3 helicopter simulator to the Royal Thai Air Force. The agreement strengthens Entrol’s position in the defense market and expands its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

The simulator’s final acceptance test is scheduled for December 2025 at Entrol’s facility in Madrid, with delivery and installation in Thailand planned for the first quarter of 2026. The simulator replicates the Airbus H135 T3H cockpit and includes a configuration adapted to Royal Thai Air Force requirements, such as the Euronav 7 Digital Moving Map and the GTN 750 Xi system. The cockpit design incorporates windows to increase immersion and closely reflect real operational conditions.

The device features a spherical visual system providing a wide, realistic field of view essential for mission training. The visual database includes strategic Royal Thai Air Force locations with detailed renderings of helipads, buildings, and terrain references.

Certified as an FTD Level 3 simulator, the device supports a broad range of training exercises that cannot be safely or efficiently performed in actual aircraft. It includes a vibration system to simulate flight sensations, an enclosed instructor station with six screens for full exercise control, and a debriefing station for post-flight analysis.
