Thai Airways Selects US Companies to Drive its Digital MRO Transformation

March 2026

American companies Trax and Aerostrat have been selected by Thai Airways to support the airline’s digital maintenance repair and overhaul transformation.

Thai Airways will implement Trax’s eMRO enterprise resource planning system, a suite of mobile applications, and a cloud hosting platform. These tools are intended to modernize maintenance processes by enabling real time data access, improving workflow management, and supporting operational decision making across the airline’s network.

The airline will also adopt Aerostrat’s maintenance planning software, Aerros. This system is designed to support long term maintenance forecasting and fleet planning. The objective is to improve aircraft availability and manage maintenance related costs more effectively.

In addition, Thai Airways plans to use artificial intelligence based applications developed by Trax and Aerostrat. These tools are expected to support planning, workflow automation, and technical defect analysis.

According to the companies, the combined systems will provide greater scalability, data security, and operational flexibility. The transition from paper based processes to digital systems is also expected to improve turnaround times and reduce paper consumption.

AAR operates in more than 20 countries and provides aftermarket services to commercial and government aviation customers. Trax has supplied maintenance software solutions to airlines and maintenance organizations for over 25 years. Aerostrat, founded in 2015, focuses on maintenance planning and scheduling software for air carriers.
