Transaction Network Services (TNS), a US-based provider of secure payment and managed network solutions, has established a new regional hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s global growth, reinforcing its commitment to the Asia-Pacific market.
The new site will serve as a central base for delivering services under TNS’ Complete Commerce platform, which enables businesses to accept and orchestrate transactions across physical and digital channels via a cloud-native infrastructure. The new office, located in the Kuala Lumpur City Center, will initially house over 50 employees across multiple departments including Sales, Engineering, Network Operations, and Project Management. The facility features a state-of-the-art, 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC), designed to provide round-the-clock support to customers around the globe. TNS’ investment in Malaysia reflects a broader strategy to bring infrastructure and resources closer to its client base in the region, ensuring faster service delivery and enhanced operational resilience.
Since entering the Malaysian market in 2013 to support a single global payments client, TNS has recorded consistent double-digit growth and diversified its customer base to include acquirers, financial institutions, retailers, fuel chains, and Independent ATM Deployers (IADs). The new office supports the continued expansion of its APAC operations and highlights its long-term strategic commitment to Malaysia. With workforce numbers at the previous location having grown twenty-fold in a decade, primarily through local hires, the company aims to maintain its growth trajectory while strengthening regional customer engagement.
