Orissa International successfully facilitated a business matching project for a North American supplier of OEM and aftermarket truck parts seeking distributors and end-users in Vietnam. The client’s visit was part of a broader, multi-sectoral trade mission organized by a US export promotion agency, aimed at fostering connections with potential customers across various industries in the region. The client’s focus was specifically on parts for heavy-duty trucks, tow trucks, rescue equipment, fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency response vehicles. During a two-day visit to Ho Chi Minh City, we organized seven in-person meetings with small to mid-sized independent heavy-duty truck parts distributors and companies that import and sell genuine OEM and aftermarket parts for North American trucks. This initiative provided our client with valuable insights into Vietnam’s truck parts market and laid the groundwork for potential partnerships, enhancing its presence in the region’s automotive sector.
