Orissa International managed a comprehensive trade mission to Thailand focused on expanding the US agricultural exports. Our responsibilities included organizing and implementing business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking sessions, site visits, and logistics for a delegation of 31 US companies and representatives from 6 US State Departments of Agriculture. We facilitated connections with 102 buyers from Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar across diverse agricultural sectors, arranging 483 B2B meetings despite some participant withdrawals. Additionally, we coordinated site visits to a local dairy farm, a wholesale market, and a leading supermarket chain in Thailand. These visits provided the US delegation with first-hand exposure to the Thai agricultural landscape, consumer preferences, and retail practices, enabling them to gain valuable market insights. Orissa International facilitated a successful trade mission that generated promising leads, valuable market knowledge, and potential for increased US agricultural exports to the region.
