AME Elite Consortium Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based integrated industrial property development and engineering services provider is planning to state construction of Jstar Motion’s fourth manufacturing plant in iPark@Indahpura, Johor state. The 137,629 square feet plant is scheduled to start construction in November 2020 and to complete in May 2021.
Jstar Motion is a subsidiary of Chinese Zhejiang Jiecang Linear Motion Technology Co Ltd, a well-known global provider of linear motion systems, such as linear actuators, frames, smart controls and accessories. Since 2019, Jstar’s total investments for land and buildings in Johor state have amounted to over USD 24 million. Once the construction of fourth plant is finished, the total manufacturing built-up area would be around 467,800 square feet. This is Jstar’s first production base in South East Asia, complementing its other bases in China and America.
AME had provided its services to construct Jstar’s three other manufacturing plants in the same location, of which two were completed in the first half of 2020, and the third one is going to be completed in the first quarter of 2021. The company was commissioned to design and construct all four plants of Jstar on a fast-track basis to cater to its expanding business.
