John-Richard, a luxury home furniture producer, has announced that it will construct a new furniture factory in Binh Duong Province, with a four-building complex totaling 240,000 square feet under one roof.
According to John-Richard, the plant will more than double the company’s capacity in Vietnam, where it currently has one facility that was inaugurated in 2007. The new plant will allow the company to enhance its vertical integration, including metalworking and casting and printing capabilities.
The facility, which is located in a new Industrial Park, will be built and operated in accordance with high environmental standards. In addition, the manufacturer has stated that it aims to continually improve the environmental performance of the buildings. Energy conservation, water conservation, a healthy atmosphere, and the overall well-being of the building’s residents will be prioritized. The new plant will support the company’s business in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, and it is set to open in June 2022.
John-Richard was founded in 1980 in Greenwood, USA, as a side-line business to Malouf Furniture. Since then, John-Richard has expanded internationally, with facilities in Vietnam, India, and China.
