In February 2023, Growatt announced the opening of the first phase of its production facility in the northern coastal city of Hai Phong, where it will manufacture solar inverters, storage inverters, and batteries. To serve the surging demand of the US market as well as other markets around the world, Growatt target to increase its annual manufacturing capacity to 500,000 inverters and 100,000 batteries.
David Ding, the Chairman and CEO of Growatt, shared that the opening of the new factory in Vietnam is an important milestone for the corporation. The manufacturing facilities in Vietnam will support Growatt in improving its ability to provide consumers with dependable and high-quality products. The facility is highly automated, implementing the latest solutions for manufacturing.
In December 2022, Growatt introduced new inverters and a battery. Specifically, it developed the new SPF 6000 ES Plus inverters for home off-grid solar power systems. Meanwhile, the new battery is intended for residential and commercial rooftop solar installations and has a storage capacity of 5 kilowatt/hour (kWh) with a nominal voltage of 650 volts.
