Siam Makro group, operator of Thailand’s number one wholesaler Makro, and leading retailer Lotus’s, has announced its collaboration with Oracle to drive digital transformation and become a more data-driven company.
Previously, the Siam Makro group implemented Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to drive efficiency and reliability in its Makro retail management. The company is also using Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) in Lotus’s to gain the operational agility needed to support more than 2,600 Lotus’s stores in Thailand and Malaysia. With Oracle’s retail technology, the retailer expects to better manage its sales volume, inventory, orders, invoices, and customer data to ensure it has the right products in the right locations and meets its customers’ expectations.
While Makro strives to be the number one wholesaler in Asia, Lotus’s recently set its mission to be a “New SMART Retailer” where innovative technology seamlessly connects offline stores with an online platform to offer the best customer experience and convenient shopping.
Lotus’s worked with the long-time Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) member Accenture to implement Oracle Retail Merchandising System, Oracle Retail Invoice Match, Oracle Retail Sales Audit, Oracle Retail Price Management, and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management.
