Danish Water Company Launches its New Smart Controller in Thailand

January 2022

Grundfos, a Danish company specializing in advanced pump solutions and water technology, has recently launched in Thailand its new LC232 Controller. The solution is branded as the industry-first for groundwater intake controls, and it offers monitoring capabilities through the use of smart technology, a characteristic that the company expects to be of interest especially for growers and cattle producers.

The LC232 Controller allows for remote monitoring and access of submersible borehole pumps. Thanks to its Bluetooth technology, the solutions also allow users to schedule water use from smartphones, reducing the need for manpower and lowering operational costs. Through a dedicated app, the LC232 Controller alerts the user via a series of alarms that indicate issues such as pump overheating, dry-run, or high-water levels. Users can then access pump diagnostics, create, and email reports on-site from the app.

Smart technologies are being increasingly demanded in the Thai market, especially in the area of water solutions. According to Grundfos’ Senior Regional Sales Director, the Thai agricultural sector is one of the most resource and labor-intensive industries, and this solution can help address crucial operational and manpower challenges.
