Nestlé Malaysia Commences Construction of USD 52.7 Million Integrated Logistics Hub in Port Klang

April 2025

Nestlé Malaysia has officially broken ground on a new MYR 250 million (USD 52.7 million) integrated logistics hub in Port Klang, Selangor state, expected to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2026. The facility will serve as a regional distribution center to support exports to over 60 countries and facilitate the import of key raw materials.

The project is being developed in collaboration with Malconrep Depot (M) Sdn Bhd, a local logistics partner since 2016. The new hub will feature a state-of-the-art warehouse and container yard equipped with advanced automation systems, including a four-way shuttle Automated Storage and Retrieval System. Sustainability is a major focus, with the facility set to operate within a zero-carbon-certified building, powered by solar energy, and supported by electric trucks, aiming to reduce over 500 tons of CO₂ emissions annually.

The investment is part of Nestlé Malaysia’s long-term strategy to enhance supply chain efficiency, improve service delivery, and drive sustainable logistics practices. It highlights the company’s ongoing confidence in the Malaysian market and its commitment to future growth. This project is designed to improve logistics capabilities while contributing to economic growth by generating over 200 new skilled employment opportunities.
