Prodia and IHH Healthcare Malaysia signed an MoU that aims to provide a more convenient patient journey with comprehensive treatment options to Prodia customers seeking medical treatment at Gleneagles Hospitals, Prince Court Medical Centre, and Pantai Hospitals in Malaysia. The event took place in Jakarta and was attended by Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Health, President Director of Prodia, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of IHH Healthcare Malaysia, and other representatives of both companies.
Medical tourism is an upcoming lifestyle trend with increasing potential in the future. This allows people to travel abroad to obtain more extensive treatment options, including general check-ups, in-patient hospital services, and rehabilitation.
This collaboration between Prodia and IHH Healthcare Malaysia is expected to optimize the management of patients who require clinical laboratory examination services before and after consulting a doctor, making patient management more convenient and comprehensive. IHH Healthcare Malaysia and Prodia are committed to providing superior service and quality care for patients that will be served as a result of this collaboration.
IHH Healthcare Malaysia is one of the largest private healthcare providers in the country, with a network of 16 hospitals across major cities – Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Melaka, and Johor, among others – which are easily accessible from Indonesia. The group of hospitals has provided Indonesian patients with excellent clinical outcomes with cutting-edge medical technology and outstanding patient care and service for 25 years.
