DKSH’s Business Unit Consumer Goods can capitalize on its position as the regional market leader for the distribution of fast-moving consumer goods in Asia.
Since the beginning of early 2022, the two companies have partnered in a wide range of Asia Pacific markets. DKSH has succeeded in increasing Oatly’s market share and established itself as their reliable partner. In accordance with the new agreement, DKSH Malaysia will offer full-agency market expansion services for Oatly’s line of oat beverages, including the Barista, Deluxe, Enriched, Chocolate, and Organic flavor range, through all trade channels as well as food services geared toward the HORECA (hotel, restaurant, and café) sector.
According to Puneet Mishra, Head of Country Management and Vice President of FMCG at DKSH Malaysia, the plant-based and vegan market in Malaysia is growing due to an increase in environmental and health awareness among consumers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Greater innovation in terms of menus, supply, and items on the market has also been sparked by this surge in demand.
