German aerial mapping technology company Microdrones has recently appointed Multi Konsultindo Jaya, a Yogyakarta-based consulting, surveying, and mapping service provider, as an authorized distributor of drone surveying equipment throughout Indonesia. As a Microdrones distributor, Multi Konsultindo Jaya will offer Microdrones Integrated Systems together with the related sensors, software and hardware.
Founded in 2005, Microdrones has sold unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for professional applications worldwide, spanning Europe, Asia, Russia, and North America. The company offers fully integrated quadcopter drone solutions, combining quadcopter UAVs with payloads and software for commercial Drones-as-a-Service (DaaS) applications, such as surveying, aerial mapping, industrial inspection, mining, construction, and precision agriculture. In addition to commercial solutions, thousands of university customers worldwide have used Microdrones’ quadcopter drones to develop their own custom applications or research.
Mr. Suranto, the Managing Director for Multi Konsultindo, said that the company signed on as a new distributor because Microdrones is widely recognized for its end-to-end LiDAR solutions, which feature state-of-the-art payloads and a fully integrated software workflow.
