Synapxe Launches HEALIX Cloud-Based Analytics for Healthcare

July 2024

Synapxe, Singapore’s national HealthTech agency, has launched HEALIX, a cloud-based analytics platform aimed at transforming the public healthcare sector. HEALIX is designed to deploy advanced AI models to enhance patient care by consolidating data needs onto a single platform. Starting in June 2024, all public healthcare entities will be onboarded to HEALIX, which promises to improve efficiency and foster collaborative possibilities through data-driven insights.

The platform offers a standardized, secure, and scalable environment for conducting analytics projects. By providing faster access to comprehensive de-identified data, HEALIX aims to significantly reduce costs and manpower compared to maintaining individual systems. This will accelerate the development of analytics models for various healthcare applications, including population health research, aligning with Singapore’s vision of a Healthier SG.

To support its capabilities, HEALIX will be housed on both the Government Commercial Cloud and Healthcare Commercial Cloud. Synapxe has partnered with AWS to develop the consolidated data infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of insights. This collaboration will provide Synapxe with early access to AWS’s latest tools and services, enhancing the platform’s functionality. Synapxe plans to continue partnering with industry experts to onboard new capabilities, ensuring HEALIX remains a cutting-edge, scalable analytics platform for Singapore’s public healthcare sector.
