Dirgantara Indonesia, a state-owned aerospace company, and Unity Accipiter Corporation (UAC), a Unity Resources Group subsidiary located in California, have signed a general operating agreement to provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the government’s fleet of C-130 Hercules aircraft valued USD 150 million. Dirgantara Indonesia will be responsible for the entire MRO support and guaranteeing the readiness of C-130 planes in transporting critical cargo to the archipelagic nation’s most distant places, according to the deal.
Dirgantara Indonesia’s President Director is delighted about the possibility of establishing a new capability at DI to offer maintenance services for C-130 aircraft and guarantee they are mission-ready. This new capability will help Dirgantara Indonesia maintain its position as one of Indonesia’s leading aviation service providers.
UAC is participating in the agreement to provide technical help, training, and access to spare parts. The Chairman of Unity Resources Group is also pleased to assist Dirgantara Indonesia in expanding its capabilities in strategic service delivery and looks forward to a fruitful future collaboration. Dirgantara Indonesia, in particular, has a lengthy history of aircraft production and repair, making it the go-to business for many aviation needs in the country.
